Today is one of those very difficult days for renowned film translator Marysmarts Matovu Junior, also known as VJ Junior, following the loss of his father.
The sad news of his father’s passing was shared by his close friend Frank Ntambi through his social media accounts.
In Frank Ntambi’s heartbroken message, it was revealed how the late Mr Matovu (VJ Junior’s father) was a loving and caring person who welcomed everyone VJ Junior introduced to him with open hands, adding that he took them as his his own children.
"Sad news. VJ Junior’s Father has gone to be with the Lord. To you Kablaza, I am very sorry to hear of your father’s passing. I know you must be devastated, but I wanted you to know that we are all here for you and the whole family.
Your father, Mzee Matovu, was the best boy I ever knew! He was always there for us and the whole family. I will miss the joy he brought to all the lives around him. May his soul rest in peace." - By Frank Ntambai.
The cause of Mzee Matovu’s death has not been revealed and burial arrangements have not yet been shared with the public.
